In Heaven my house will be by the forest overlooking the sea With ferns and redwood trees on either side of my door But til then I’m growing in Jesus…that’s worth more than houses or lands And the very best part of Heaven will be Him.

I’ll have a mansion in that City, I know that’s where you’ll find me After flying through the galaxies and exploring the stars But for now I’ll learn to serve Jesus, and spread the word of His awesome love And let them know the best part of Heaven will be Him.

And right now I may be poor and living in the desert It really doesn’t matter, for I’m rich in Jesus And yes, sometimes life is hard, He never promised something easy But in the end Heaven is cheap enough, for at last I’ll see Him.

And I can hardly wait for that day when He finally comes and takes us away And we’ll reach that beautiful place we’ve waited so long to see And we’ll cast our crowns at His feet, for we wouldn’t be there but for Him Yes, the very best part of Heaven will be Jesus Yes, the very best part of Heaven will be Jesus.

When the enemy comes in like a flood (Is 59:19)
